A Calling Rooted in Birth, Motherhood, and Care

My work is devoted to supporting women and their partners through one of life’s most profound transitions with presence, trust, and attentive care.

As both a mother and birth practitioner, I believe families deserve to feel informed, respected, and deeply supported throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

My Story

My path into birth work began long before motherhood itself.

At around ten years old, I remember sitting beside my mother watching birth stories unfold on television with complete fascination. Even then, I felt deeply drawn to the experience of pregnancy, labor, and the profound transformation women undergo as they bring life into the world.

Today, I am a mother of five and the wife of my high school sweetheart. Motherhood itself has become one of my greatest teachers, deepening not only my understanding of birth, but also my reverence for the emotional, physical, and spiritual transitions women move through as they enter motherhood.

My Training & Continuing Studies

  • Traditional Birth Attendant Training / Holistic Birthkeeper Studies — H.E.R.B.A.L
  • Peer Lactation Counselor
  • Placenta Specialist
  • Holistic Fertility Studies
  • Currently Pursuing Studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine

My approach to care has also been shaped through years of continued self-study, experience, and personal exploration. Much of my learning has come through the study of herbal and medical texts, hands-on experience supporting families, community knowledge, traditional wisdom, and the lived experience of motherhood itself.

I believe learning in birth work is lifelong, evolving through both study and the lived experience of supporting women and families through one of life’s most profound transitions.

The support I offer today is a reflection of that ongoing journey — bringing together formal training, practical experience, traditional knowledge, and a deeply personal commitment to caring for women through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

My Philosophy

I believe birth deserves to be approached with presence, trust, informed choice, and emotional care.

While modern medicine absolutely has its place, I also believe there is profound value in honoring the body’s wisdom, creating calm and supportive environments, and caring for the emotional experience of birth as much as the physical one.

My approach is deeply relational and individualized. I strive to create a space where mothers and their partners feel grounded, informed, respected, and supported in the choices that feel right for their growing family.

"How a woman is supported through birth matters. It can shape not only the way she remembers her experience, but also the way she enters motherhood."

A Broader Foundation

This philosophy of intentional care also extends into my broader work through Natural Philosopher’s Sacred House of Alchemy, where I continue exploring traditional wisdom, holistic wellness, and the relationship between nature, healing, and human well-being.

At the heart of both spaces is a shared belief: that care should feel personal, grounded, and deeply intentional.
